PROMOTIONAL VIDEO

I produced a promotional video for a special event at Grace Community Church in Incheon, Korea. Starting from overall planning to scenario sketches, location selection, video shoot, and final editing, I was involved in all stages of the production.

FINAL RESULT

Putting my thoughts on paper is one of beginning stages of my promotional video production. By visualizing the scenes through sketches, I was able to set the direction and concept of the whole video.

Being the main director of the video, I did research on the site of video shooting, wrote the scenarios, and directed the actors. This was filmed in Central Park, Incheon Songdo and the shooting happened for the whole day. The post production editing and sound effects were done on Premier Pro and After Effects.

The final video was uploaded in Grace Community Church young adults channels and it was broadcasted to the audience of more than 6 thousand.

COME FORWARD
MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION

I was the main producer and director for music video production of a music band AJ Music. I was involved with overall planning, scenario sketches, location selection, video shoot, and final editing. All the shooting was done in a studio thus thorough pre-planning was crucial.

FINAL RESULT

After series of retouching the final music video was uploaded on AJ Music youtube channel with more than 1.65k subscribers.

DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY
AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

For 3 months I participated as a DOP and video editor in Raising Awareness Campaign for people with developmental disabilities. The campaign was funded by the government and the main producer and I had to create 8 short videos to tell stories of people with developmental disabilities. I was involved with overall planning, scenario sketches, location selection, video shoot, and final editing.

FINAL RESULT

The final 8 campaign series videos were all uploaded on the nationwide youtube channel specializing on raising awareness for people with development disabilities.

IMAGINE DRAGONS
MOTION GRAPHICS

For my university project I did a motion graphics story telling of one of my favorite bands, “Imagine Dragons.” I was keen on making information such as band members, albums, and background of the band in a trendy and simple look, and to convey information and message as clearly and effective as possible.

FINAL RESULT

For pre-production procedure, scenes were visualized through sketches, sequence order/basic storyline were brainstormed, and several BGM options were selected.

Throughout editing, seamless transitions, suitable effects, and engaging story-telling had to be well incorporated for the final outcome to turn out as desired.

The final video was played during the 2017 Information and Interaction Design Exhibition and viewed by professors, students, and visitors.
