BRAND HISTORY MUSEUM 3D MODELING DESIGN

For university assignment, I created a concept Brand Museum for the high-end home appliance brand “Smeg.” Focusing on the concept of “Family” I was inspired by the round table through which families share meal and have conversation.

DESIGN PROCESS

For my initial work process, I made some sketches and created clay prototypes to get a rough idea of the outcome. Most of the works were done on Rhino. Through material design tool Keyshot different types of materials such as concrete, metal were applied on the 3D model to visualize the exterior look. Lastly on printed 3D models I applied spray paint to polish up the final look.

CAPSTONE PROJECT
3D MODELING DESIGN

Together with students from various majors forming a team, we started a project that dealt with the problem caused by liquid wastes from disposable cups after use. Through our “BINCUP” project, we came up with a bin-like product that separated the liquid from the cups thus resolving the problems caused by liquid waste such as stench, difficulty in recycling, and cleaning.

Project: TECHNO ART CAPSTONE
Objective: Solution for left over liquid in disposable cups after use.
Participation: 40%, Team work
Design Tools: Rhino, Keyshot, Cubicreator, Indesign, Photoshop
Duration: Sept. 2017 - Dec. 2017

We carefully investigated and did various researches and surveys from institutions and organizations in order to get in-depth insight to tackle the problem. Our team didn’t want the project to just end as a “concept project” but be applicable in real life, so we considered installation, manufacturing, delivering, and other expenses that were needed for the project.
